What can i do to get my 9month old to take a sippy cup?

It doesn't matter if it is a soft or hard spout she just wants to chew on it.

  • That's too young for a sippy cup. Try again in a few months

  • Just keep offering with water. They need to learn on their own that they can drink from them... otherwise it just appears to be another toy. She'll figure it out. My first did around 11 months and my baby just started actually taking sips at 10 months.

  • That is ok. Offer her a sippy with water a couple of times a day; eventually she will get the hang of it.

  • thats not too young for a sippy...my son has been using a sippy cup since he was 6 months old and he does great...sometimes they just use it as a play thing at first....just give it some time. good luck
