When is it normal to have your first doctor's appointment?

The office that scheduled me said that they didn't to see me until I was 8-10 weeks. This seems like a while to me, and is my first pregnancy. Please share your advice!

  • With my first they scheduled your first appt. between 8-10 weeks, with my second it was 12 weeks. It seems like a long time, especially for an excited mommy to be. Good Luck!

  • That's normal unless you have a high risk pregnancy. Sometimes doctors won't see you until 12 weeks.
