Well...well..well...seems as if us "fearmongers" WERE right, all along! (ObamaCare)

Obama FINALLY admits that a few "strays" managed to sneak their way into at least one of the health care bills that recently passed through the House and the Senate, that support the fact that if these bills made it to his desk, those of us that already have private health insurance plans WOULD be in jeopardy of losing them!

"we said from the start that it was going to be important for us to be consistent in saying to people if you can have your -- if you want to keep the health insurance you got, you can keep it, that you're not going to have anybody getting in between you and your doctor in your decision making. And I think that some of the provisions that got snuck in might have violated that pledge."

Mr. Obama, this is what happens when you let majority leaders run amok and you don't read the bills you propose!

What do YOU think?

  • WOW!!! So, on the same day that he lectures the GOP on how to play nice with others, and to quit spreading rumors, he admits that the rumors are true. So that means the rumors are in fact, factual. And yet, we are supposed to just roll over and take what he wants to give us.

I think there may be more admissions to come out. As soon as someone on his staff reads a little and reports back what it REALLY says.

  • I'm pretty sure that health care bill is still being looked at by the senate. Meaning it hasn't passed yet.

  • Well that is a "duh" for me....

I mean of course he is not going to come out and say that eventually we will loose our private insurance. Their goal it to slowly take away our freedoms. That way there is little resistance and the majority of people won't even know what hit them.

It starts with "oh this great plan that will help the uninsured," but then eventually turns into full on Government run healthcare.

Isn't that how it always works with the Government ?

  • Really?! You didn't hear that the House passed a healthcare bill in November CLICK HERE, and the Senate passed a version on Christmas Eve Day CLICK HERE.

The reason why it hasn't made it to Obama's desk is because he can only sign ONE healthcare bill, so the House and the Senate have been bantering back and forth for the past month trying to compromise, err, figure out the best way to buy the votes of those in opposition or on the fence!

AND now with Scott Brown (YAY!), is the 41st Republican the Democrats can't bring the Senate bill back up for a vote with their "changes!"  And liberals acted like Brown's win was no big deal!!!  LOL :o)

  • this topic has long been driven into the ground for me. the bottom line is...there are more ppl without good healthcare than those with good so yes SOMETHING has to change. i know ppl with full time jobs with benefits but their out of pocket expenses are so high with the company insurance that they might as well not have any! imagine having a $1500.00 deductible
