First talk about going to the potty. Watch children's shows that talk about going to the potty (Blue's Clues), read books about going to the potty, etc. Then let her go to the bathroom and practice flushing the toilet (some children are scared of hearing the toilet flush). Have her help you pick out big girl underwear. I do not recommend a pull up unless for the use of night time sleeping. This will only hinder her rather than help her. Once you and her pick out some panties, have her try them on. Take her to the bathroom every 30 minutes for the first few days. Once she has the hang of it, then you can start taking her only every 45 minutes, then every hour, and so forth until she is able to tell you when she needs to go to the bathroom. Good luck!
