Grinding his teeth!!!

My son is 11 months old and the last few days he has been constantly grinding his teeth. He only has 4 and the top 2 are barely poking through yet it is really loud and sounds awful. What can I do to stop him from doing this? I'm worried he will ruin his teeth already!

  • Just gently rub his jaw when he does it, it should be ok afterall they are just baby teeth so there won't be permanent damage.

  • It's just a stage. It will pass. It won't ruin his teeth.

  • My daughter had a few weeks where she did the same thing after she had her first 4 teeth. He is just exploring the sound and feel of his new teeth. It will pass. Don't make a fuss over it or he'll continue to do it for the attention.
