  • it's probably wind burn, my son gets it every year. i put diaper rash cream on his cheeks and it goes away usually the same day. then you can use unscented lotion on his cheeks after that.

  • Eucerin Original is awesome stuff. It helps tremendously. It's expensive but worth the money.

  • It's chapped skin mom. Put some lotion, vaseline or something on it.

  • Two things popped into my mind.

Either fever or Dry skin, possibly Eczema. My dd has this and her cheeks get VERY red.

Keep a check on his temp...but I bet its dry wind chapped skin....get some Eucerin wonders ;)

  • I'm hesitant about using lotions on my daughter's face because she's constantly rubbing her hands near her face and then putting them in her mouth. I've used just a dab of olive oil on her face when she gets dry skin and that has worked really well for her.
