  • keep hydrated with water, and offer pedialyte! treat the rash like any other diaper rash. ointments, air drying time. when ym son gets a bad rash I give him an oatmeal bath. I crush up old fashioned oats in a sock, tie it up and run it in the bathwater.

  • My 19mos DS just got over the stomach flu. He had diarrhea for 2 wks. I think something's going around. With that said. Keep him hydrated. If he's BF then keep nursing. If he's not then pedialyte. - didn't feed DS oatmeal or sweet potato. Instead, gave him starchy foods (potatoes, pasta, rice) but u need 2 let his body run it's course.
As for the rash, I would sit him down in the toilet when he woke up (cuz that's when he would usually go da 1st time. Then wash him down everytime in da tub. Just a wash from waist down. He didn't have a rash TG! I hope ur LO gets better very soon :)
