How big is/was your 6 month old? How much did he/she eat?

My baby will be 6 months tomorrow. She is 14 lb. 11 oz. and 25 1/2 in. Which I think is pretty normal but she eats like crazy. She eats about 35 oz. and 2 jars of baby food per 24 hours. What about yours?

  • my son was 19lbs and 28in.

he's a big boy and has always been a GREAT eater!
he was eating 2/3 jars of baby food for lunch/dinner and then was eating cereal with fruit for breakfast and before bed.
we also started introducing "solids" around 6mo too.

  • Six months is a growth spurt. Eating a lot of formula/breastmilk is normal.
Remember though, that food before one is just for fun. Nutrition comes from the breastmilk/formula
