Old wifes tale?

Okay I was told the other day that if my son learns to say mama first my next baby will be a girl and if he says dada first it will be a boy. Have you ever heard this? What did your baby say first? If you had another baby was it a boy or a girl?

  • Of course it's an old wive's tale. There's a million of them out there.
Each of mine said Dada first. They are both girls.

  • LOL yeah old wives tale. most kids say the name of the parent who is home less first. so if the father is a working dad, then daddy first, if the mom then mommy first.
