  • My son didn't crawl in any way, shape, or form until 11 months and never held his own bottle, or even a sippy cup; he never got the hang of tilting it up, so he went straight to a straw cup.

My daughter started army crawling at 7 months, hands-and-knees crawling at 9 months. She's breastfed and won't take anything from a bottle/sippy regardless of who's holding it, so I don't know about holding a bottle/sippy. I imagine she could if she wanted to, but I don't know for sure.

  • My son started army crawling at 5 months and crawling "for real" at 7 months. But also started pulling up at the same time bc it hurt his hand. (he doesnt have a fully formed left hand you can pm me if you want me to explain lol). He held his bottle pretty good early too ummm I think around 4-5 months or something bc he was also sitting up alone by 5 months. We started a sippy at 7 months, but didnt go exclusive till 11....no real reason just didnt but he took mostly a bottle except nap/bedtime by 9 or 10 months

  • Crawling is not a developmental milestone and many babies never crawl.
