If you believe in Father God, then why dont you believe in Mother Goddess?

I just want to know why anyone believes in the Father and not the Mother?

  • "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me." It doesn't say there weren't any, just that we were not to worship them.

  • My religion does. But she is so sacred, not much is known about her and we really don't talk about her much.

  • it says Gods.. nothing about Goddesses though. lol. actually it does, but I just wanted to be a smart ass for a minute there. But I see your point op.. unfortunately I don't believe in the existence of either.

  • i dont believe God is male or female...but rather embodies both. God was given the male form b/c men gave God that gender.
