  • I would say low iron. Take her to the doctor it could be something more serious then low iron.
It really needs to be examined by her doctor.

  • there are other causes for anemia other than low iron. Also, if they have something like celiac disease that interferes with absorption of nutrients they can take all the iron in the world and still be anemic.

  • sounds like she's anemic..... i'd take her to the doctor asap.. if she takes adhd meds, those could be causing problems too...
kids on adhd meds tend not to eat a well balanced diet... get her to the doctor.

  • even if taking an iron supplement, something could be interfering with the iron absorption... with the iron, she should also recieve a vitamin c supplement.
make sure she gets orange juice, or something with her cereal in the morning.. something with vitamin c with her hamburger etc... vitamin c helps with iron absorbtion..
i'd definitely take her to the doctor though
