can the test have been wrong?

pregnancy test came back negative and i have every symptom of pregnancy... i have been feeling a little fluttering in my belly and my belly is getting bigger and i am gaining weight...........10lbs in a month to be exact but da dr. haven't done all they should have to be sure if i am r not thats my opinion i am constantly nauseated and having lower back pains like i did when i was preggo with the other 4 and cramps in my buttocks sorry if TMI!! so somebody give me your incite it would be helpful thanx!!!!!!!!!! i think i need another opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unless you are like 14 wks preg you arent going to be feeling any baby "flutters". The thing is just too tiny at like 6 wks.

  • Some women never turn a urine test positive so I would have a blood test ordered, and and ultrasound.

  • I would say get a blood test and ultrasound, and it is possible to feel "flutters" as early as 9 weeks. But typically this only happens in very thin women. (not saying you aren't)

  • I felt flutters at 10 or 11 weeks with my son. The more children you have the sooner you feel flutters. I would go to another doctor, get a second opinion and request a quantitive HCG test (blood test). I would also ask about an ultra sound while waiting on the results of the blood test.

    There are other things that can cause these symtoms so your doctor should do a full work up.

  • You should not be gaining ten pounds in a month. You need to see a doctor they can do blood work.
