Do you put shredded roast in your spaghetti?

I have leftover roast and I don't feel like making soup or beef and noodles. I was thinking about shredding it up and putting it in spaghetti. How do you make yours? Thanks!

  • My mom used to do that...although the meat was cooked with the sauce, simmering over about three hours. Haven't had that in YEARS.

  • I would probably never do that, but I'm a picky eater. I only put ground beef in my spaghetti sauce!

  • stir BBQ sauce into it and serve as BBQ beef on a bun! YUM!

  • I use my leftover roast to make shephards pie. Add some mixed veggies and make gravy with xtra broth, top with mashed potatoes and bake. Very yummy!

    I've never had it in spaghetti, but it would be worth a try.

  • I've done it before. My kids don't like it so well but I prefer it to ground beef!
