what kind of dishwasher soap do you use?

  • "Finish" powder. The tablets and gelpacks have too much soap in them for our water. Makes suds galore. Finish is also one of the few without lemon stuff in in. Lemon pits stainless steel.

  • I have glass plates and glass glasses would it be ideal for that stuff???

  • Any of the dishwashing soaps are fine for glass..the gels seem to be less abrasive so over time they will probably cause less etching. No matter what you use..over time, glass gets etches in the diswasher. Around here it isn't a big deal.. I wind up replacing due to breakage before etching is noticable. I never, ever put my fine crystal or silver in the dishwasher. Not that it can't go there.. it is just my personal preference.

  • Cascade gel with Pure Rinse formula, always use crystal/china setting.
