  • Later on in pregnancy, babies grow at different stages. Yours may just be putting more weight on than "average" I wouldn't worry about it. If they suspect the baby is getting too big, they will induce you. Other than that, seems like it's growing just fine :) I don't think they'll change your due date as of yet

  • BUT that was by ultrasound and they said that they are "allowed" a 2 week window in determining dd...because dds are just estimates..

  • I always showed 4 weeks ahead and they keep my date the same. I carried extra water. They went by when I last had my period not by weeks because there are different reasons you are showing bigger.

  • The chances of changing a due date because of meaasurments is slim to none. They do sometimes change the due date after an early ultrasound, but later ultrasounds are less accurate for dating purposes.

  • Late ultrasounds are not reliable for determining a babies gestational age, size and gestational age are not the same thing at all. Its a very bad idea to change due dates based on a late ultrasound.

  • i always think it's better to think of the due date as less certain anyway so i don't really see the point of "changing" a due date since it's not real anyway. baby will come whenever s/he wants to no matter what! i would just expect baby anytime in the next 4-11 weeks! :)
