Freemasons?

Do you think Freemasons are brainwashed?

I've known a few and never got that impression but in the brainwash post I say someone mentioned they were.

  • My dad, grandfather and uncle were all Masons not to mention several guys I dated. None seemed brainwashed to me.

  • The basics of freemasonry that I've learned about is that they aren't a religion; they're a "fraternal order" that any male (there's a female version with a different name) with a belief in God can be a part of.

They're history comes from the original masons, or brick layers, of the ancient hebrew temples. When the temples were destroyed, the brick layers did their best to preserve what they knew about the temples.

  • From what I hear they take care of each other. I heard they had to take a blood oath. Is that true?

  • What you guys are overlooking... In the inner circle... the further up ones are. Go and read up on former freemasons and read their stories.
