What's the point in asking someone if they lie?

.....Wont they lie anyways?

  • You have to ask to find out if they are lying. There are ways to catch a liar in ways they cannot control.
    Besides, a good liar tells as much of the truth as possible with their lie so they don't have to make everything up and try to remember what they said.

  • I guess people feel that confronting that person will make them break and tell the truth but that is not always the truth unless you are talking to a child...lol Or if that person is very weak and can not face it. Or some kind of satisfaction for the person who wants to know to see the other persons face...idk.

  • Polygraph machines aren't always accurate with sociopaths who manage to convince themselves that their own lies are in fact the truth.
