  • She's not bad, Hun. She's busy! Try more structured play and get her on a schedule! That being said, let her sleep. You sound like you need a rest, too. *hugs*

  • I let my son sleep how ever long he wants. I wouldn't wake him unless he had a therapy appointment.

  • nope. not unless you are concerned that she went down too late and the nap might interfere wtih bedtime.

  • we don't wake our son up unless we are going somewhere. usually if we do wake him up before he wakes on his own, he will be grumpy. so.... sometimes he will sleep like 4 hours!!! i think it just means he needs that extra sleep. usually he will just sleep about 2 hours though.

  • OP:She is BAD. YOu can't structure her play. lol. she won't sit still to color or play with play dough. she won't play with toys. She runs around the house screaming and laughing and getting in to everything! she empty's bookshelves, clears out the pantry. She even dumped 2 pounds of black beans in the kitchen before I could catch her the other day! She is awful! -- And awake byt he way. guess I do Have to get her now...

  • The only reason I ever wake my 2 year old up is if his nap will keep him up past his bedtime. Other than that, I just let him sleep! Enjoy the ONLY free time you probably get. : )
