  • We are not a big dessert family... but why do the kids have to like it? If they dont like it, dont eat it.

Check the desserts category for brownies, pies, cakes, cookies-- most everything is fruit based and uses all natural ingredients, lower sugar

Raspberry no-bake cheese cake, pumpkin cake with ginger frosting, banana sunflower bread

  • Charlie Brown Pie
Make a graham cracker crust, press into pan. This is optional, but my family likes it - warm some peanut butter til it's pourable, and spread a thin layer on top of the crust. Mix a couple boxes of chocolate pudding (I do 2 boxes with 3 cups milk - less than for pudding). Spread on crust. Top with thawed Cool Whip. Cover & refrigerate leftovers.

    Poke Cake
Bake a white cake according to directions. Poke cooled cake full of holes. Make a box of Jello, and pour over cake. Refrigerate. Before serving, spread with thawed Cool Whip. Top with fresh fruit. We like to use strawberry jello & put sliced strawberries on top, but any flavors/fruits work.

My kids devour both of these. But most often "dessert" in our house is fruit.
