Why get vax'd for the Swine Flu?

I was reading the other day and found it interesting that in 1976 the Swine Flu was already out and cosidered an epidemic. I also found out that the name was changed b/c of the loss in profit suffered by the farmeres with pigs. If it were deadly then, and ppl got over it, why get vax'd for it again? Shouldn't the govt already have a cure and regular vax for check ups?

  • My son was vax'd because he has existing medical issues that would make him contracting ANY flu virus very dangerous for him.

  • We did both flu and the H1N1 vaccine. Why be more sick then you need to be.
