  • Polaris Ranger is a great option. you can put a seat in the back that faces rear ways, so you can fit 3 people up front with seat belts and two in back with belts. there is also room for an ice chest for lunch and drinks. it is like a HUGE go cart!!! you should check it out! you can take it places a 4 wheeler cant, and an SUV cant.

  • Toyota 4 runners have a great rep for off roading. You can easily find one on craigslist that is all hopped up. Seems 20-somethings are always needing to sell their rowdy trucks. The covered cab ones-- the SUV style, not the ones with a truck bed-- have seating for 5. They are very safe. Low roll rate. I have a friend who keeps a carseat in hers. Her toddler LOVES wheeling through mud.

  • We have a Monster Jeep Cherokee, lol It's on 37 inch tires, Hubby did all the work on it. We take our boys wheelin (rock crawling) in it all the time, and they love it. We had a yj but had to sell it, with 3 boys, 2 in booster seats, they just didn't fit well... The cherokee is much bigger in the back and it's just as much fun, if not more!!
