  • You shouldn't put cereal in bottles. Ask your baby's pediatrician, I'm sure he or she will agree..

  • I never gave cereal in a bottle. By 2 weeks I introduced a spoon, and gave maybe 2 - 3 small spoonfuls a DAY. As she aged, the cereal portions increased, and she was already used to the spoon feeding.

  • Never did the bottle thing ... just didnt seem natural to me. When a mom nurses, her boobs dont start producing cereal as the baby gets older =)
    In my opinion, solids are meant for a spoon. Other have different opinions, but I think you are only inviting trouble when you add it to a bottle.

  • That is a very dangerous thing to do, babies have died that way. And if your doctor suggested it he should have his licence stripped.
