I'm on a budget and need a good cloth diaper system. Please help!!

I'm a WAHM and thinking about cloth diapering my 7 month old son, but am on a budget and need a complete set for as little money as possible. Where can I buy one?

  • Congrats on taking the first step towards cloth diapering. Sounds corny, but it's such a fun and rewarding experience!
I did a lot of research on cloth diapering before my son was born and got so overwhelmed by all of the info out there. I couldn't afford Bum Genius, Happy Heiny's, Bummi's or Thirsties, but definitelywanted that level of quality product for less money. The best value for money I found online were the Real Nappies bundled packs on their website. They have packs for each stage of baby's development as well as a complete birth to potty pack (which I noticed has $100 off at the moment).
I've been using them for 6 months now and love them!

  • Look into Green & Comfy. I get them new on eBay pretty cheap. They're AIO's and I LOVE them.

  • Prefolds or flats with diaper covers are the cheapest you'll get.

  • Amile IS right. But if you're looking at AIO's, the ones I mentioned are pretty cheap.

  • Amileegirl is right, prefolds and covers are cheapest. If you want an all in one type consider bumgenious 3.0. They are a pocket diaper and would be an initial out put of about $200 for what you will need, but they fit 8-35 pounds so you will never have to buy anything else! They have them at diapers.com, target.com (10% off at Target.com if you have AAA) as well as at the company site at http://www.cottonbabies.com/index.php?cPath=98&gclid=CICk577Fyp8CFRKiagodlEs_zw

There you can also find used and clearance ones for cheap!

  • Our diapers were hand-me-downs and from thrift shops.
