  • I trust my mothering abilities and instincts. i am lucky and i have always been a mothering type person....so i have never doubted my abilities to parent. if i have a question or a problem i am not afraid to ask my SO, my mom, the doctor, etc. I know there are certain things I dont know...so I will ask. I talk to my kids teachers probably more than they would like to make sure that I knoew everything I think I need to know.

  • There's no such thing as certainty. But as long as your child is healthy and growing and ISN'T too well known by the school principal...or worse, by the local truant officer...chances are you're doing fine.

  • I do 2 things--get as much information as possible so that I can make informed, logical decisions, and I also draw on my gut instincts. The combination of those 2 processes have served me pretty well thus far.
