What is the gospel?

  • The Gospel (yes, Good News) is not only that Jesus has died for our sins, but the depth of the statement! The wages we deserve is death, but Jesus paid the price! This sums it up, I think:

    "Christ was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves. He was condemned for our sins, in which He had no share, that we might be justified by His righteousness, in which we had no share. He suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His. 'With His stripes we are healed'" EGW

  • the gospel is "the good news" of Jesus dieing for peoples sure there's more to it, but that's the main part i think (im not christian)

  • there are 4 gospels in the bible, the first 4 books of the new testament. matthew mark luke and john. it is the story of jesus, the good news that he brought, his teachings specifically.
