  • Most nuts are a good source of protein, but of course everything in moderation.

  • They are good for you in small amounts. A one ounce serving is 159 calories, 13 grams of fat (but most of that is the good unsaturated fats), 6 grams (12% daily allowance) of protein, 16 percent daily allowance of Thiamin, 18% Vitamin B6, and is also an excellent source of the minerals phospohorus, copper, and manganese. But eat in moderation because of the high calorie and fat content.

  • All nuts are good if you dont eat a ton of them. Usually 1/4 to 1/2 cup is good.
