finding out the sex of the baby

im16 weeks4 days and i have to go in today for an utrasound due to spotting do you think they can tell what the baby is just wondering thank you

  • not yet, about 20 weeks I think, ask the ultrasound tech anyways, not out of the realm of possibility but not likely.

  • 16/4 is unlikely ....even if baby is spread eagle and really cooperating! U never know though, good luck!!!! I had 14 ultrasounds with my 1st baby and over 20 w/ my second. My son we knew the sex at 19 weeks and daughter at 21.... I think those are pretty average ranges. Every earlier ultrasound I prayed for a sex though!!!!

  • i found out at 18 with all three of my can ask but its probally too soon. and even if they can guess its not gonna be a good guess. at that point vaginas look like penis and vis versa.

  • It isn't till 17 weeks that the gential can be seen well enough on an ultrasound.Most place like to wait tll 20weeks to be safe and know that by that time they can have a more accurate reading.

  • they can guess the sex, but they might not be able to, or they might be wrong. :) it's a lot more likely to be right at your 20 weeks one
