Would you pay $45 for a homemade reusable menstrual pad?

I think they're a great idea kind of like cloth diapers. I saw a website that was selling these. But $45 seems like a lot. They can be made for less than a few bucks.

  • $45 a piece? Heck no that is ridiculous! Keep looking. Ive seen ladies here at cafemom selling them for much less. Or google a pattern for them and make your own.  You could make enough for yourself and your family and friends for $45 lol.

  • $45 for one? You'd need at least 2-3 so you could change it, wash it, and let it dry, meanwhile using another one. I see how it could save money over time, but it's too gross for me. I'll pass.

  • Maybe I've been under a rock, but - reusable pads?

No thanks. I'll stick with tampons.

  • How in the world would you wash that? You would need so many to make it work that it would be way to expensive. File that one under- no!

  • Not for me! I'd rather the disposable ones so I don't have to clean them. That's gross.

  • Hmmm..think I'd have to pass on that.
