  • It's two separate cakes stacked on top of each other. Before they baked them, they most likely put a mold in each of them and baked them then filled them with the frosting/ ice cream and put them together. It's a lot of fun to do.

  • I don't but you can use a cake mix like Betty Crocker and do it. Looks like they used two 3D hearts and put them in prior to cooking. It's the same idea of the watermelon cake (where you use two bowls. Fill the larger bowl with batter then stick the smaller bowl in and bake . Then fill the smaller bowl and after they are cooked they should fit together and look kind of like this: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.coolest-birthday-cakes.com/images/coolest-watermelon-cake-28-21131926.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.coolest-birthday-cakes.com/coolest-watermelon-cake-28.html&usg=__2viL1j1zeoBXOg7p5rJ5iUfKq7w=&h=276&w=392&sz=24&hl=en&start=15&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=llAiWDXH1E1UgM:&tbnh=87&tbnw=123&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dwatermelon%2Bcake%26hl%3Den%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox%26rlz%3D1I7DKUS%26um%3D1)
