when does the Bible agree a couple is married? I always thought it was at the moment of consummation

but if that it true there couldn't be any pre marital sex

  • You answered the question and pre m is just that. Sorry this is in the right context, but if people are serious about each other they will give time to each other to make decisions based on time apart, and space apart and respect for each other .

  • It's consummation AFTER the wedding vows. Yes, the pre-marital sex is supposed to be a no-no, so keeping that it mind, what it basically means is that even if two people get married, if they don't have sex, the marriage is invalid unless they do. That's why a big deal is made of the wedding night, even in these more modern days when people don't wait to have sex.
