  • Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, amen.

The word "Thy" can be changed to His. Also, where it talks about trespasses, in some translations, are and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.

  • Jesus' model prayer can be found at Matthew 6:9-13 (& Luke 11:2-4)
“You must pray, then, this way:
“‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth. Give us today our bread for this day; and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the wicked one.’"
