I have used five different methods (Chinese and others) to find out the sex of my baby, I'd arrived at one answer. Are these methods reliable? has any one used them before ?

  • scientifically, they are not the most reliable methods. the most reliable method would be amnio (where u get blood from the baby) its always 100% accurate. next would be an ultrasound, but even those can be wrong at times. however, as an expecting mother, i have done a variety of those tests as well, and they have come out to be true on the most part.

  • NO.

only an ultrasound or amnio, or actually giving birth would give you a 100% idea, but u/s aren't always that accurate.

  • Amniocentisis is, as far as I know, the only truly reliable method.

  • Oh, and if you get "girl", the amnio could still be wrong, though it's rare. One of my friends got girl on hers, but they sampled her uterus. That penis was clear as day on the ultrasound.

  • Old wives tales. You get what you get. Just be thankful if it is healthy.
