Is it true you cant wear contacts during labor?? what it my glasses are an old prescription...I want to be able to see.

  • I wore mine. Nobody even said anything about not wearing them.

  • some hospitals request that you do not, so they can administer an "Emergency" c-section at will, without much prep.

    no, other than that, no reason at all that you can not. I know many, many women who have.

  • I wore mine with all 4 of my pregnancies. Never had a problem with them nor had a dr tell me they were bad for me (had a different dr with all 4, ranging from midwife to a specialist OB/GYN). I can't even imagine how they'd harm the baby....
