When someone says I am beginning to feel like the bad guy, what does that mean to you?

  • Like they always have to enforce rules and that makes them feel like a bad guy in the eyes of whoever they are constantly punishing. It just means they want to share discipline handling.

  • depends on the situation

    as a mom - I'd take it to mean that one or the other parent isn't stepping up to their share of the discipline.

  • If it has to do with parentig then he needs more help. If it is used in reference to a relationship then he either is hearing lots of negative things about himself or he is trying to deflect responsibility by guilting the other party.
