how much should a 2 month old who is bottle fed eat

my daughter eats 5 ounces every couple hours is that normal

  • well its different for every baby bec my doc told me tha a 2 mon can eat from 2 to 4 bec my baby acted like she was still wanting more than 2 when the child is full they will trun there head away..

  • You can't feed bottle fed babies as much as they want. What they eat every 24 hours is the most important. You don't want to overfeed your baby and have an overweight baby. Babies can't control their intake. They have strong sucking desires and can suck down a whole bottle even if they didn't need the milk.

    Find a chart that says how much formula that your baby should get every day by age or weight. Then space that amount out over the day.

    We now know overweight babies can have lifelong weight and health problems.
