  • God give us brains to better ourselves. It's not his job to get us out of all hardships.

What skills do you have from life itself in addition to what was obtained while getting a paycheck. No matter your age you've come through some things or other that can be used to help you in the longrun.

Don't self yourself short. You're very very worthy in spite of what's happened.

  • Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding."

  • Because we need to take responsibility for OURSELVES instead of trusting in a deity that may or may not exist. And even if he/she/it/they DID exist, probably wouldn't be bothered to help tiny little insignificant humans with their tiny little insignificant problems.

  • I think because we know the truth, even if we don't want to admit it. He isn't there in the little things, but that doesn't matter because they ARE little things. But if he doesn't come thru to help you in the big things, that could be serious--even deadly. That makes us afraid to take those big steps...because he so often fails us in the little things. There is no reason to believe he won't fail in the rest.
