Have u heard about the teething tablets?

i read this thing about a mom who gave her baby some kind of teething tablets that made her baby trip like in was on acid. anyone read that? what was the tablets???

  • Okay..that is weird. I used Humphrey's tablets. My child didn't act like he was on acid.

  • Never heard of that at all.

    I used a combination of tynenol, frozen rags and hylands teething tablets.

    How would someone know thier baby was tripping like on acid?

  • well the baby starting going into confalstions or w.e and his eyes got dialated. sorry cant spell to well. i read it on here in december of last year.

    we used hylands teething tablets and never had any problems.

  • what is a teething tablet ( never heard of them here in Australia) frozen or wet facewashers, paracetemol if they are grumpy, We do have a gel you can put on the gums called Bonjela, but generally over here, teething is just part of babyhood and we don't fuss about it too much. Can't imagine why you need a tablet... 3000 years of babies managed to get their teeth through just fine?

  • Hylands worked just fine for my 2 boys, never heard of anything going wrong else where.

  • Teething tablets are wonderful. They do not send your baby on a trip of any sort, have no idea where that idea came from. The tablets are mainly chamomile which calms and soothes irritated gum tissue.

  • We used homeopathic teething tablets, which are such a low dose that it wouldn't cause any reaction like the one you've stated. They're dosed in ppm, parts per million.
