Plus size maternity, JCPenney? online

i'm wondering if anyone has bought the plus size maternity pants from jcpenney, especially online. our store here in town only goes up to XL but i need 2x, so i'm hoping to order online once i get a little money but i'm so afraid they will be horrible. i hate ordering clothes online because you never know how they will fit. :(

anyone have any good or bad experience? i haven't been able to find plus size maternity pants anywhere, other than online!

i'm planning to get black pants for work, and jeans.

  • I just bought 2x maternity jeans from JC Pennys, they are nice but very big. In actual size I think they must be size 22 or 24 (I wear a 20). It's ok with me though, last pregnancy I got real swollen so I may grow into these if the same thing happens. Plus, they are comfortable and nice, they sure beat my pre preg jeans sqeezing and pinching the heck out of my belly.

  • Motherhood has plus size clothes, but theyre so expensive!!!! check ebay and all if your willing to wear second hand...and i wear JCPenneys maternity clothes, not the plus size, but their clothes are REALLY nice, they wash up GREAT! Im on my second pregnancy still wearing the same simple t-shirts from there and they wash up soft like new! its worth a try to me!

  • Heck besides just eBay check out Thrift Stores for the name brand pants and clothes in plus sizes....reality is that's where most of the ebay sellers get their inventory! And yes I'm one of those sellers....I get most of my maternity stuff including plus sizes from Amvets and Salvation Army for $2-$5 and sell it for $10-$45 depending on brand name and size. Plus sizes sell for a lot higher becuase they are so hard to find.

  • i thought about ebay but i know i want the option to return stuff. if i buy from jcpenney, i can return in the store if the fit is as bad as i'm fearing. as for thrift stores i haven't been able to find anything/ :( i was also looking at motherhood website so i'll have to decide which i want to go with. don't have much money so can only get like 2 or 3 pairs of pants.
    thanks!
