  • my son is 11 months old and he has been using a pillow for a few months now...i dont see any problem with it.

  • I never gave my kids a pillow until they transitioned out of the crib - there's no need for it!

  • My oldest used a pillow at about 6 months but it was a very flat one and she also co-slept with me so I didn't see a problem with it since she would not go to bed without it.

  • I wouldnt make the switch till at least a year because they can slip under it and suffocate. Though I agree that its not necessary till they move into a real bed.
