  • my 2 1/2 year old girl wears 3T and some 4T
my almost 4 year next shopping will be for boys XS! OMG

I'd go with 2Ts, maybe a few 3Ts just in case.

  • maybe 2's - is he a tall 12mo? or shorter? stalky or petite?

my oldest at 1 was in 24mo or 2t pants, but 18mo shirts.
middle was about 12-18month size, can still wear 18-24 month shirts - she's 6.

youngest is the 'normal one' 3 year and in 3-4 clothes.

try getting some size 2T, and 24mo.

  • I would get 2T-3T and keep all reciepts and if for some reason it doesn't work out for next year you will be able to return it and get bigger sizes but i would lean more on 3T if it's a little big then so be it they will grow into it. My 20 months old is in 24 months and if I buy her anything from her on out i get 2T I do most of my shopping for her at gap, old navy, TJ Maxx and Marshells. They have great return poilcys. All the summer clothes I got for this summer i bought 2T so I think I am doing pretty good she is going thur a growing spurt right now.

  • I would base it on the way he fits clothing now... if he tends to fit clothes for his age I would get clothes of those sizes... if he's usually a size or two bigger than that would be the way to go.
My DS is 18 months and he is in 18-24 month shirts and 24m and 2T pants for length.
