  • I used that for a little while. It's probably okay. The best stuff is Charlie's Soap, but I order it online in bulk.

  • The key is dye and perfume free. I never bought Dreft.........why, when I could get the same from All Free and Clear. I'm sure it's fine. I have been washing my daughter's clothes in All Free and Clear from day one and have never had a problem.

  • OK good. B/c these mamas on this other site are saying nothing is god but these certain ones that cost way to much money. I found an online list of all the detergents for CD and that was the only one i found in the store

It's not very expensive. Dreft and some of the Free and Clear type brands will leave residue on the diapers, which of course will make it harder for them to absorb and you will have to strip them more often.

The dye and perfume are NOT the biggest issues. You also have to worry about enzymes, softeners, and brighteners.

  • Oddly enough the cheaper the "normal" brands the better they usually are for your CDs, because they don't have all the additives.
