Bankrupcy and credit

We filed rupcy 7yrs ago and my husband just pulled his credit report last night. It says that we filed chapter 7 on our house and has no history of us ever paying a payment. However we did not and currently still live in the home and have for 9 yrs. So since it says that we have no obligations to a home can we just walk away from our home and not be bad on our credit. should I talk to the lawyer or call the houe company and find out what is going on??

  • Bankruptcy is nothing to mess with. I'd call the (or any) bankruptcy lawyer. You need the correct answer
