I was trying to give my dd some medicine this morning, cuz she woke with a fever...and she gagged and spewed it out. In my frustration, before I thought, I let the b word slip out, and immediately appologized and said that was an ugly thing to say, and I was really wrong for it, and she is NOT that disgusting and horrible word-Mommy is for even saying it to her. I've apologized about 50 times and asked her to forgive me. My baby is sick. She did not, and does not deserve that. I feel like such a poo! :(
I guess the good thing about it is she sees how falible and imperfect I am, and that it is important to apologize immediately when one realizes that they're wrong.
