eating steak!

is it alright to eat a steak with a pink in it while pregnant? I ate some the other day and I just wanted to know if it was alright.. I know not hamburger but I didn't know about steak!

  • im pretty sure any kid of beef should be cooked to atleast medium while your pregnant.

  • My doctor said all meats were to be well done during pregnancy. My DH was such a freak about it! He practically made my steaks into beef jerky while I was pregnant. LOL.

    You also should cook your lunch meat to steaming, just FYI, for the same reasons that meat should be well done during pregnancy.

  • =/ Its "supposed" to be well done.. but, I ALWAYS eat it pinky and usually with a lil blood.. it hasnt hurt me so far :)
