  • Mine did. It was a big help. Most kids have a non-nutritive sucking need until around 18 months old give or take. Most BF babies don't need one, just use the boob. Bottle babies need them, they can't suck a bottle for that need.

  • No, but I wish she would..I think it would be so much easier to break her from the bottle when its time, lol.
My son did use one...he was addicted to the thing, lol.

  • my son used it only til 5 or 6 weeks old then wanted NOTHING to do with it..

I was jealous of other moms having a magic peace and quiet plug so when his sister was born I went a little mental and bought one of every single type of pacifier I could find. Fancy custom ones online, dollar store crap, soothies, gerber nuks, mam ones and plenty more. She thought they were awful and would gag and/or cry. Soon though she found her thumb and it worked pretty well, I guess.

  • my daughter is 3 1/2 months and bottle fed and never had an interest in one she took one for the 1st 2 weeks. Some babies just don't like them. She would rather talk she's blabbing every minute she's not either eating or sleeping. I suppose this could mean I talk to much and she's imitating me. lol

  • my son uses a pacifier only when nothing else will calm him. he is almost two months old. we are hoping to not let him use it anymore when he is a few months older. don't know how it will work though.
