When boarding a cat what shots do they need?

  • As far as i know they need to be up to date on their distemper and rabies.

  • the vet clinic I work at they need their distemper and leukemia to be boarded. We don't require rabies.

  • Rabies and FVRCP are the ones that most Boarding facilities(at least in the area I live in and where I used to work) require UNLESS there is some Medical reason why they don't have those vaccines(ie: vaccine reactions,age,underlying health issue) and then I would either board my pet at the Vet's office or have a Pet Sitter(or friend) come to your home to take care of your cat..
