what's the best way to give my 6 wk old a bath?

i've been giving her sponge baths, but i'd like to give her a "real" bath.

  • At walmart they have this blue bath tub with a yellow lining in it. It is grippy so your baby wont slip. I did that for both of mine to give them baths. OH, and the best part is that it fits perfectly ontop on your sink. It's ment to fit in one side of your sink so you don't have to bend down to the big bath tubs.

  • Get a baby tub and use that. You can find them in the baby section at Walmart/Kmart/Target. Fill it with just enough water to splash around.

  • As long as the ambilical cord has fallen off already there should be no problem... baby tub is the way to go especially if it is one that comes with different stages. We used our baby tub up until my daughter was 1 & 1/2. They are great because you can use the holder in the sink and then when they get too big you can just use the tub.
