Birthday party food

The party is between 2 and 4. There will be 16 adults, a 1 year old, 3 year old, and 5 year old. The menu is:

Hamburgers
Macaroni and cheese
Fruit platter with dip
Veggie platter with dip
Cheese, Crackers, and Sommer sausage
Sugar cookies
Birthday cake, of course!
Water
Lemonade
Punch
Tea

Is this a good menu? Enough? Too much? Any feedback would be very much appreciated! Thank so much!

  • Wow, if the party's between meals, that's going way overboard IMO. I'd personally stick with a few little snacky things, like the crackers/cheese/sUmmer sausage & veggie & fruit platters, and the cake. I don't see a need to serve a full meal plus snacks between meals.

  • It's fine. But later as more children will be coming to the parties than adults, i would cut back on the "meat" items and just have finger / snack foods. But you do have grown ups there. Just make sure you've got stuff to put on the burgers.
