I'm 41 years old, and 3 of my children are grown, and I have one that is a teenager. I've pretty much been a SAHM all of these years. I homeschooled for 7 years. I've also worked a lot of retail jobs. Currently I work as an associate at a Lowe's. My job is OK, but I don't make as much money as I would like, and the hours are crazy. Would anyone care to share with my what career you are currently in, and how you came about being in that career? I'd especially like to hear from those who started later in life.Answer Question

Lily, it's me! lol I am 45. I think you know I have three kiddos, only one at home. I am beginning an adventure in returning to school (on line with no baby on my lap....lol) to earn my BA in Interdisciplinary Education K-8. I realize that teaching may not provide me with what others feel would be a beneficial 'career' but teaching is some thing I have always wanted to do. Life got in the way. No more! What are you interested in? What are you passionate about? Think about that and go from there! You can do what ever it is you feel you need and want to do. Don't forget that! It is never too late!
